The London Festival of Architecture has launched a competition for emerging architects to come up with innovative new ideas for workspaces and routes under and around the Silvertown flyover.
In keeping with the transformation of London’s Royal shopantibioticsonline.com Docks, the LFA will put forward ideas that attract creative businesses to the area. The results of the competition will be on public display the London Festival of Architecture 2017. The competition is the first fruit of major new partnership between the London Festival of Architecture and Royal Docks partners, as plans take shape for the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone and Opportunity area to form the east London activity ‘hub’ during the festival, which runs from June 1-30, 2017.
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, April 4, 2017. A shortlist of bidders will be chosen to further progress their designs, and the results of the competition will be exhibited during the London Festival of Architecture at the Royal Docks.
